These unique 8-foot diameter glass and steel pendants hang in the atrium of the 77 Wacker Building in Chicago. Initially, costs threatened to eliminate the fixtures from the building plans.
Michaels’ collaborated with the architects to design and build quality lights that equaled the original concept, at a cost that stayed within the budget. Keeping the full scope of the project on target, Michaels’ worked with the electrical contractors at 77 Wacker, doing the bulk of the installation in an already occupied building.
